CHEMICAL GUYS TRIM CLEAN WAX & OIL REMOVER (473 ml) is a Chemical Guys product designed to remove wax, oil, and dressing residues from plastic and rubber trim. It is useful before protecting or restoring trim when the surface has old product residues and an uneven appearance.

Chemical Guys describes such preparation products as a step that helps new protection adhere better to a clean surface. Apply the product to a microfiber cloth or applicator, treat a small area, and wipe off the dissolved residue with a clean cloth.

Repeat the process if necessary in areas where old wax or oil has accumulated in the pores. Test the product on a hidden area and do not use it on hot surfaces or materials for which you are unsure of its suitability.
